Mon 8th February, evening - Barcrawl!
After a great event before Xmas, we've decided to team up with SocSoc again to bring you part II of the night your livers will wish never happened!
Mon 8th March, evening - TUBES Spring Ball!
TUBES is teaming up with the lovely people in maths and psychology to bring you this year's spring ball! It'll be held at Java from 7:30 - 2:30 - full details and lineup to be announced shortly.

Thu 10th December, lunchtime - Free Mince Pies!
It's nearly Xmas, so at lunchtime in the Queens foyer TUBES will be giving away free mince pies! We have several hundred...yum!
Mon 30th November, 7:00 - Xmas Bar Crawl!
TUBES has joined forces with SocSoc (the sociology society) to bring you another night of madness! Meeting at Roo Bar on Whiteladies at 7:00, and ending up at Thekla. Tickets on sale at lunchtimes in the Queens foyer for £5, which gets you a tshirt, entry into Thekla, and a load of free drinks en route. There'll also be lots of challenges on the way with prizes for the winners, and £100 for the best photo sent to us by December 5th to have a Xmas meal for the winning team. Wed 25th November, 1:45 - Technical tour of the SS Great Britain with Arup
TUBES will be running a tour of the SS Great Britain, one of Brunel's greatest achievements, and one of the most impressive examples of Bristol's engineering heritage. We are delighted that Alf Perry, director at Arup, will be joining us to speak about some of the engineering challenges the company faced during the restoration and maintenance of the ship. Sat 7th November, morning and afternoon - Paintballing!
We'll be putting on a paintballing trip - only £5 including transport, equipment hire, lunch, and the first hundred balls. Hopefully there'll be time to catch a celebratory pint or two afterwards as well! [SOLD OUT]
Thu 29th October, 5:00 - Technical tour of Butcombe Brewery
This is a technical talk of how a brewery functions with engineering students at Bath and UWE. Free transport will be provided, and there may be an oppportunity to sample the product at the end of the evening...Places very limited, details to be announced shortly. [SOLD OUT]
Wed 21st October, 12:00-3:00 - Engineering and IT Careers Fair
This is run by the careers service not TUBES, but would be very beneficial to our members. A great chance to chat to the industry's top employers. More details on the careers service website.
Tue 20th October, 6:30-8:30 - A recruitment evening with KPMG
TUBES is proud to be sponsored by KPMG. This event, to be held in the chemistry building, provides an excellent opportunity to meet with representatives from KPMG including Bristol graduates to find out more about the company, and to gain some invaluable advice on the application process.
Mon 19th October, evening - Bar Crawl!
TUBES will be hosting a barcrawl starting at Roo Bar on whiteladies and finishing at the Bunker with free entry to Calvin Harris, with plenty of drinks on us at the start of the night! Mon 5th October, 1:00 - Have a drink on us!
1st year students have a 2hr maths lecture on Monday morning, finishing at 1 o'clock. To help introduce you to some of your coursemates on the first day, head down to Spoons on the triangle afterwards to have a drink on us!
